have you ever noticed you, or someone you know, or even don't know, blindly follow a car? ya know, when someone starts drifting to the right or left with/without a blinker on and then you or whoever start doing this also. it happens all the time and it just makes me bonkers! but let me admit here, i too, have done this! but what we don't realize, is how we do this in real life. not with the cars, but with our very own precious lives.
we just follow too closely, it's time to slow down and enjoy...
and of course i love me some good quotes:]
"like the elephant, we are unconscious of our own strength. when it comes to understanding the power we have to make a difference in our own lives, we might as well be asleep. if you want to make your dreams come true, wake up. wake up to your own strength. wake up to the role you play in your own destiny. wake up to the power you have to choose what you think, do, and say."
-keith ellis, bootstraps.
"security is mostly a superstition. it does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. life is either a daring adventure, or nothing."
"your life lies before you like a path of driven snow, be careful how you tread it cause every step will show."
"there is only one success-to be able to spend your life in your own way."
